I've bought a pair of these recently and they're an incredibly well-made shoe for the price--soft and comfortable, but built solidly so that you can't just mush them up into a ball like you can with many shoes made today. The uppers are firm and the shank gives the shoe stability that you don't always find in this price range (superior, for instance, to ecco, mephisto, etc). Appearance is elegant, "dress-casual".
I wear these nearly every day. My feet feel supported and comfortable. I'm going to buy another pair in a different color and will keep buying these in the future.

I suffer from Planter Fasciitis and arthritis - 50+ years old. I bought my first pair of the "Wynn" Neil M. shoes after trying them on at a shoe store in a town I was visiting. I am able to put in 10-14 hour days with these shoes. The Bison Leather uppers allow me to easily ride motorcycle in my office shoes w/o fear of scuffing. These really are the most comfortable shoes for the money I have found since being diagnosed with foot problems. I have gotten the Black and the Cognac and just ordered the Chocolate. I also have the Boca loafers in black/gaucho (similar to the Murphy). The loafers aren't as uber-comfy but great for airports - carbon fiber shank. Neil M. shoes have an incredibly cushioning inner sole, fantastic styling, able to be re-soled or half-soled and are every bit worth the the price. These win over any Italian brand I have tried as well as Finns from Germany. Neil M. has a plethora of styles to meet all my needs.
